
Recently Philips announced some new mobile devices. The most remarkable of them is Philips V900. It runs on OMS (Open Mobile System) operating system which is Chinese version of Google Android. Philips V900 comes with 3.5 inch capacitive touch display with WVGA (480×800 px) resolution, 3.2 Mp camera with autofocus, 256 Mb RAM, 40 Mb built-in storage, microSD memory card slot (up to 8 Gb), triband GSM/EDGE, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, GPS, Wi-Fi and 3.5 mm headphones jack. The dimensions are 115 x 62.4 x 13.2 mm. The battery has 1450 mAh capacity and provides about 7 hours of talk time. Philips has plans to bring the V900 to US or European stores. Expected price is about $350.
