Intel has just unveiled its new device. It is rugged convertible computer designed for students. Classmate PC is equipped with 10.1 inch touch screen with 1024x600px resolution, 1.66 GHz Intel Atom N450 processor, 1 GB DDR2 RAM, 160 GB hard drive, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.0, 1.3 Mp webcam, 4-in-1 cardreader. There are also optional GPS, SSD, WiMAX and 3G modules. The operating system is Windows XP. The case of this device is protected from shocks, and the display is resistant to scratches and moisture. The battery provides up to 8 hour of work time. Intel Classmate PC will become available in Europe and US in next few weeks and will cost $500.
