Two coming smartphones by Dell

Engadget has just published some information about some Dell’s coming smartphones running on Windows Phone 7 and Google Android operating systems.

Dell Lightning is horizontal QWERTY slider running on Windows  Phone 7  OS. It will be equipped with 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD8250 processor, 512 Mb RAM, 5 Mp camera with autofocus, 8 Gb internal flash storage, MicroSD memory card slot, Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi, GPS, motion sensor, accelerometer, digital compass, FM radio, 1400 mAh battery. The OLED screen of this high-end device will have 4 inch diagonal (800х480px resolution) and will have multi-touch capability. It is also said about Flash and Silverlight support. The version of this smartphone for GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 MHz and UMTS/HSDPA/HSUPA 850/1900/2100 MHz networks will become available in December. Modification of Dell Lightning supporting LTE networks will be released in 2011.

In contrast to the Lightning this smartphone has monoblock shape, runs on Android 2.2 OS  and has not so impressive set of specifications. Dell Smoke has full QWERTY keyboard, 2.8 inch touch screen, 800 MHz Qualcomm MSM7230 processor, 5 Mp camera with autofocus, 512 Mb RAM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0. GPS, TV out.
