Motorola announces its first Android tablet

At last Motorola announced its first tablet device. It is Motorola XOOM. As it was expected it runs on new Android 3.0 Honeycomb operating system that has been just officially announced. This device is based on NVIDIA Tegra 2 system-on-a-chip platform that includes 1GHz dual-core processor. The list of specifications also includes 10.1-inch capacitive touch screen with 1280x600px resolution, 1GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, 5MP camera, 2MP frontal camera for video calls, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G module, MicroSD external memory card slot, HDMI output. The body of this tablet measures 249х168х13mm and weights 730g. Motorola XOOM Android tablet will be released in the first quarter of 2011. Unfortunately no word about price.
