AT&T mobile operator announced new smartphone produced by Korean LG Electronics. LG Nitro HD is a monoblock device features really huge 4.5-inch AH-IPS touchscreen with 1280x720px resolution. It is based on 1.5GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system that is expected to be updated to Android 4.0 ICS in next few months. The device also has 1GB RAM, 4GB ROM, MicroSD card slot, 8MP AF camera with LED flash, 1MP camera for video calls, 1830mAh battery, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS, FM radio, digital compass, accelerometer, light and proximity sensor. It is also said that the smartphone supports LTE, HSPA+ networks and Wi-Fi direct protocol. LG Nitro HD will become available on December, 4 and will cost $250 with two-year contract.
